Over the past four days, Deva Medical has been showcasing the new FreMon Scientific ZipThaw thawer across the UK. From Wales to Liverpool, London to Essex, customers were blown away by ZipThaw’s technology and speed of thawing.

The four days culminated in a presentation to over 60 blood transfusion managers at their quarterly TADG meeting in London’s Charing Cross Hospital. The reception was overwhelmingly positive, and customers are keen to get trialing one ahead of purchasing ZipThaw for their labs.

We are so excited to have the first commercially-ready demonstration ZipThaw unit, with ZipSleeves, from FreMon Scientific.

Over three days, a FreMon representative and the Deva Team will be busy testing out the ZipThaw ready for UK sale this summer.

Fred Thacher, co-founder of FreMon Scientific, has been over in the sunny United Kingdom this week to demonstrate the new and exclusive dry thawing device: ZipThaw and ZipSleeve.

The ZipThaw and ZipSleeve are set to be new market trendsetters in the medical industry when they launch later in spring 2019. Over three days, Deva Medical’s National Account Manager, Terry McKindley, took Fred to some of the biggest trauma centres and hospitals in London, to introduce this new thawing device, which is guaranteed to change the way customers thaw.

Feedback has been overwhelming, with customers already talking about how ZipThaw and ZipSleeve will fit into their busy blood bank laboratories.

The ZipThaw is a revolutionary dry thawer, able to thaw FFP, Cryo and stem cell vials in anything from 5 to 16 minutes, depending on volume. The thawer displays consistent product temperature, reports the full thawing cycle, and has an innovative digital touch screen to show the data.

Deva Medical plans to launch the product in the UK in early April to May 2019, so get in touch today to make sure you’re one of the first to be signed up.

Deva showcases FreMon Scientifics ZipThaw at Stem Cell User Group, date: 29.11.2018

At the 28th Stem Cell User Group Meeting in Cambridge, Deva Medical launched FreMon Scientific’s brand new ZipThaw plasma thawer and ZipSleeve pockets.
Deva Medical was the first international medical device distributor to show ZipThaw and ZipSleeve at a conference, and the feedback was highly positive.
