ThermoLine™ Blood Component Freezing Systems
Deva Medical are sole UK agents for sales and service of the Thermoline™ range of rapid plasma freezers. These freezers use a patented liquid-immersion method to rapidly freeze up to 72 standard plasma packs. The plasma packs have no contact with the liquid coolant at -42°C as they are suspended in flexible membranes, or 'pockets'.
The typical time to reach a core temperature of -30°C is 30 to 35 minutes, products reaching a final temperature of -42° C after typically 45 to 50 minutes.
The end of the freeze cycle is indicated both audiably and visually, and the operating cycle time and temperature can be easily changed by the user.
A unique 'Night Cycle' mode is also possible, where after a normal freeze cycle is completed, the machine will maintain a product core temperature close to -40°C until stopped by an operator.
Two units are available, the smaller MP1100 with internal refrigeration plant holds up to 32 standard plasma packs, where the larger MP2200 unit holds up to 72 standard plasma packs. The MP2200 requires an external refrigeration plant, which is supplied with the unit. Both units are installed by our technical support engineers to ensure the quickest installation and testing times.
