Temperature Mapping

Deva Medical offer a comprehensive temperature mapping service for refrigerators, freezers, and incubators.
Currently we can offer mapping of up to 8 points within any one device, but our normal mapping procedure uses the following parameters:

9 points sampled

1 sample every 60 seconds

Mapping period of 24 hours

Air temperature mapped

Please be aware, that as of 16th February 2008, these are our standard parameters for mapping, after further consultation with customers undergoing MHRA inspections and referring to the relevant British Standards.

We can also offer other options, such as number of points sampled, product temperature instead of air temperature, different mapping periods, etc.

Calibration

Deva Medical currently offer traceable calibrations for the following equipment types:

Blood Bank Refrigerators (Chart recorder and temperature display)

Plasma Storage Freezers (Chart recorder and temperature display)

Platelet Incubators (Chart recorder, temperature display, and agitation speed)

Thermoline Plasma Freezers (Temperature and time)

Thermoline Plasma Thawers (Temperature and time)

Centrifuges to 100,000RPM (Speed, temperature, and time)

All our calibrations are carried out with UKAS calibrated test equipment, calibration certificate copies for this equipment are available on request so that customers can be satisfied that true traceability is maintained throughout our entire calibration process.

In addition, we are the only UK company offering UKAS - traceable calibration of platelet agitator linear speed.

Calibration certificates issued show details of the test equipment used, as well as all relevant details of the equipment being calibrated. Certificates also carry 'As found' and 'As left' data so that calibration drift of equipment can be assessed.
