Our Company.....
Deva Medical Electronics Ltd. are an independent UK company based in Runcorn, Cheshire distributing and supporting medical and laboratory equipment. Formed in 1981, from a management buyout of the UK technical support operation of a US multinational, the company originally concentrated on the sales and support of existing clinical and laboratory product lines.
The product range has expanded continually, and now includes plasma thawing, blood product storage, centrifugation, media preparation, ventilation, CPAP, and associated products. The company has continually expanded its technical operations, and as well as supporting our own products, we also support equipment from other manufacturers in the same product categories. We are also constantly creating partnerships with other companies to provide technical support for such products as immunology cell / sera dispense equipment, cytometers, and sample storage/ retrieval systems, and continue to build extensive contracts with customers including government laboratories, national blood centres, and major teaching hospitals.
We operate an active, modern technical support department for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of medical and laboratory equipment. Support is provided on the customers' site, including in the homes of patients where this is required. Where equipment needs repairs beyond those practical in the field, we maintain comprehensive workshop and laboratory facilities at our Runcorn office. Our technical support engineers operate from 7 regional centres for complete and rapid coverage of the UK, and in addition we can provide 24 hour / 7 day coverage for certain equipment types.
Sales executives based in various geographic areas provide even coverage of the UK, and a large stock of demonstration equipment means that customers needs are met as quickly as possible.
Unlike most other companies, Deva Medical has a dedicated department that deals exclusively with customer service contracts. So, customers have access to a department and manager whose priority is the negotiation and administration of service contracts. Regular routine contact with customers means that we are constantly aware of the changing needs of customers, and can tailor solutions to suit. We believe that flexibility is to the key to our continued success, so aside from our standard service we can provide flexible, tailored solutions to your requirements.
